Lyndsey is a communications strategist, speaker, and CEO of Akers&Co, a boutique public relations agency that helps founders, executives, and mission-driven organizations grow their visibility and influence. With more than 15 years of experience spanning corporate communications, Capitol Hill, and national nonprofits, she now partners with many of today’s most influential military-connected and impact-focused brands.

 

Since launching Akers&Co in 2020, the firm has supported nearly 40 organizations and hundreds of entrepreneurs in amplifying their expertise, expanding their reach, and strengthening their reputation through strategic visibility.

Lyndsey holds a master’s degree in strategic public relations from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Charleston Southern University. An Air Force spouse, mother of two, and passionate advocate for military families, she was named the 2026 Armed Forces Insurance Air Force Spouse of the Year in recognition of her leadership and impact across the military community.
